LYD is a brand I'm building from scratch.
I design every piece myself. I choose the fabric and the colours, and follow each piece from the first idea to the finished garment.
Three years ago I started learning to sew, because I wanted to truly understand clothes: how fabric falls on the body, where a seam should run, and what makes a piece feel right. The first collection grew out of that process.
I sew the first samples myself. Production is done by a workshop in Israel, in small runs. That way every piece stays special, and what sells out doesn't necessarily come back.
Pieces are sewn ahead of time and ready to ship. No waiting for production.
LYD is femininity, confidence and comfort, with a slightly different touch. Clothes that work in the evening and in everyday life, and feel special in both.
For me it's much more than clothes. Behind every piece there is a lot of love, thought and work.
